Here are the First Graders ready to start another school year. They have had a fun filled summer, and now it’s on to First Grade. The students are enjoying getting reacquainted with each other, and welcoming new students to their class. The First Graders are busy learning the procedures of the classroom, and are very excited about working in their new textbooks.
This month the students will be reviewing their basic Reading, Math, English, Handwriting, and Phonics skills. They now have their own English, and Spelling books to work in; just think they’ll soon be starting to write creative sentences, and stories --- what fun! They are looking forward to the time they can use their homework notebooks, and are busy getting ready for Parent Night, and our field trip to Safety Town.
They are looking forward to the many fun and exciting things that September brings. All in all September is going to be an exciting and busy month!
