Reading: The students will begin by utilizing various reading strategies to improve their reading comprehension. They are starting with sequencing.
Religion: The students will be learning about the seven sacraments with new understanding. They will start with the Sacraments of Initiation.
Science: The students are busy at work learning about the scientific method and its applications in the real world. They will also start to explore their science fair topics.Religion: The students are working on their unit in Family Life.
English: The students will start their Science Fair Review (need notecards, how to outline, how to research).
Math: The students will be working on large numbers, number sense, operation sense, and some basic Algebra.
In Social Studies, 5th grade will begin with map skills.
