Language Arts: The students will be working on writing a persuasive project based on a topic that they feel strongly about. Also they will be creating a poster on a topic they feel strongly about.
Religion: Students will be learning about the Easter Season and Lent.
Reading: 6th grade will be beginning their novel Bridge to Terabithia. Also, they are creating pop up books based on a folk tale, myth, or legend.
Science: With yet another wonderfully successful Science exposition behind us for the school year the students will resume their study of the Earth. They will be learning about soil formation and weathering.
Math: The students will start working on operations with whole numbers, mixed numbers, and fractions before reviewing for the Terra Nova Tests.
Social Studies: The students will begin lessons on Mediterranean Empires beginning with Ancient Greece.
