Someone you should know … Jennifer Bunker Miss Bunker is excited to begin her first year at St. Maria Goretti Catholic School. She’ll be working closely with the Seventh Graders and teaching Social Studies to 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Graders. Miss Bunker is quite familiar with being a part of a faith-based family like the one at St. Maria Goretti. She graduated from Santa Maria del Popolo and Carmel Catholic High School, both in Mundelein. Miss Bunker attended Butler University in Indianapolis, IN where she found her passion for Social Studies education. In her free time Miss Bunker enjoys sewing, reading, spending time with friends and family, and playing with her dog, Gus. Two of her favorite books are The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein and Tiger Eyes by Judy Blume. Miss Bunker wants every one of her students to feel that her classroom is a safe academic environment where they can learn and grow. Her inspiration comes from her family and the students she teaches. She is also inspired by the endless possibilities of learning and achievement that exist in everyday life. This year she is excited to get to know her students and inspire them to become responsible world citizens.
