Ms. D’Antonio is the fifth grade teacher at St. Maria Goretti School.  She is also the fifth through eighth grade science instructor.  Ms. D’Antonio has been a part of the St. Maria Goretti family for two years.  She received her undergraduate degree in elementary education at Illinois State University. 

Ms. D’Antonio’s educational philosophy consists of providing her students with meaningful opportunities to learn.  She believes that students learn most effectively when provided with hands on experiences that promote higher-level thinking.  She understands that each child is unique and she tries to provide different outlets for learning.  She is inspired by her faith and her students.

Ms. D’Antonio’s favorite hobbies are singing, spending time with her family, and reading.  She is looking forward to planning a variety of engaging science activities this year.  Some of these activities include science experiments, science demonstrations and projects.
