Christopher Prout is the new computer teacher at St. Maria Goretti School.  Mr. Prout has a Masters degree in Education and a Bachelor degree in Communications from DePaul University.  He spent several years as a journalist prior to becoming a teacher in the 1990’s.

             His educational philosophy is that no child is unable to learn, and educators must strive for all children to reach their greatest potential.  One of his major goals for this year is to get to know all the students and to help them to incorporate computer skills with their academic subjects.

             Mr. Prout enjoys outdoor activities that include biking, hiking, camping and golf.
