Someone you should know...Mr. Watson, Music

My name is Mr. Mark Watson and this is my first year teaching music at SMG. I Graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.A. degree in Music Education.  I enjoy teaching students music by having the students work together in large and small groups.  I believe that teaching students how to read, play, and write their own music is something that is really exciting.  Playing recorders is one of many exciting plans that I will be doing in music class this year. 

Other than learning new instruments to play, one of my favorite hobbies is playing Frisbee golf with my friends and neighbors.
